Attorney general of the appeals of Alexandria referred Wael Saad Tawadros, and monk Faltawes to Criminal Court on charges of the murder of Bishop Epiphanius, head of St. Makar monastery.
The defrocked monk Isaiah confessed to the murder of the bishop with the help of monk Faltaws who encouraged him and secured the way to commit his crime.
Wael Saad also confessed he used a metal piece to hit the bishop thrice on his head causing his death.
