Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi concluded his visit to China on Tuesday and flew to Uzbekistan, the first official visit by an Egyptian President to the Central Asian country.
According to a statement by Egyptian presidential spokesman Bassam Rady, El-Sisi will visit the capital of Tashkent where he will meet his counterpart Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
El-Sisi will also meet a number of ministers and top Uzbekistani officials, where both sides will hold talks to boost relations between the two countries.
El-Sisi and Mirziyoyev are also set to witness the signing of a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding over strengthening joint cooperation between both sides in a number of industries.
Uzbekistan is the third leg of a foreign visit by the Egyptian President since the weekend where he visited Bahrain and China for talks as well as to participate in the Beijing-hosted Forum for Africa-China Cooperation.
