In the current meeting for the general assembly of the UN, the UN secretary general “António Guterres” addressed one of the most important speeches in the last decade.
The importance of his speech coming from what he has said and what he has warned the world from. Mr. António talked about the Depreciation of the international law to settle dispute between nations, not only that but also, he talked about not respecting the international law and the agreements from powerful countries which he didn’t name.
In my opinion Mr. António, put his hand on one of the most important problems will face the world in the coming century. As an example of this what United States did when Trump withdraw from the nuclear agreement with Iran.
António also admitted the UN failed to settle down many disputes around the world like war in Syria, Yemen, Iraq and Libya for example, which means that UN arms represented in the general assembly and the Security Council doesn’t have that effect to settle battles around the world.
In conclusion, we need to know that the world is witnessing a mess in the international relationships and this mess might result in generating a new international system but the United States will still be main factor in this system for long time.
