This week, the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi returned home following an official visit to Russia during which he held talks with his Russian counterpart Valdimir Putin on several regional issues and signed a comprehensive partnership agreement between the two countries. They announced their determination to boost bilateral cooperation in the economic, industrial, investment, educational and cultural fields with the aim of elevating bilateral relations to new heights.
During his visit, president al-Sisi stressed the importance of finding ways of boosting bilateral economic ties. This appeared in his meetings with the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and in his speech before Russia s Federation Council.
This week also witnessed the signing of two agreements between Egypt and the European Union for comprehensive growth and job creation to combat the challenges of migration in Egypt, with a total value of €135 million.
The agreements aim at facilitating the overall growth of the Egyptian economy, as well as contributing to the creation of more job opportunities for youth and women, supporting sustainable economic development, improving the future indicators of living, and enhancing the overall climate of the Egyptian economy to allow for greater innovation.
We hope that Egypt will develop in the next few years supported by its vital partners like Russia and the European Union.
