CAIRO – Arab foreign ministers meet Sunday to pick a new secretary of the Arab League. Competing for the job are Egypt's Moustafa el-Feqi and Abdel Rahman el-Attia of Qatar.
The term of the incumbent chief Amr Moussa ends Sunday. Since its creation in 1945, the top post of the Arab League has been held by Egypt except for a short spell when the pan-Arab organisation was moved to Tunisia after Egypt signed a peace treaty with Israel in 1979.
