CAIRO – A total of 221 Egyptians returned late on Monday from Libya via Al-Sallum Port, Ambassador Mohamed Abdel-Hakam, the Deputy Foreign Minister for Consular and Immigration Affairs, said on Tuesday.
"Officials are still working to repatriate the rest," he added.
About 1,343 Libyans, meanwhile, have been evacuated to Egypt via Al-Sallum, which makes a total of just over 114,000.
