Egypt s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will head to Sudan on Wednesday to participate in the ministerial meeting of Libya s neighbouring countries, a statement by the Egyptian foreign ministry said.
The meeting is scheduled to take place in the Sudanese capital on 29 November.
The FMs are expected to discuss the latest developments in Libya as well as means of pushing forward ongoing efforts to restore security and stability in the country.
The Khartoum meeting is part of a series of ministerial meetings held periodically by Libya s neighbouring countries. The last meeting took place in May in the Algerian capital.
Since the 2011 toppling of dictator Muammar Gaddafi, rival militias have been fighting a weak central government across Libya.
