President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi will participate in the EU-African forum on Sunday during his 4-day visit to Austria, aiming to reinforce the partnership between African and European countries, presidency spokesperson Bassem Radi said.
Radi added that Sisi will give a speech on Egypt’s vision concerning development efforts in Africa.
Sisi will hold a summit meeting with the Austrian Chancellor and President of the Council of the European Union (EU) Sebastian Kurz to discuss bilateral cooperation in the fields of investment, commerce, technology, innovation, education, scientific research and transportation.
Sisi and Kurz will also exchange point of views and coordination of position in the regional issues, Radi added.
Before heading to Austria, Sisi participated in the Africa 2018 forum in Sharm el-Sheikh on December 8-9, which was aimed at achieving greater regional integration and facilitating intra-regional trade, as well as increasing investments between African countries.
