The Egyptian mobile networks started operating inside the monastery of St. Samuel the Confessor in Minya.
The monastery had witnessed two terrorist attacks in which more than 35 people were killed in the isolated road leading to the monastery and such service is one way to prevent similar attacks or at least allows people to contact security services in case of emergency.
