Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark See, participated in the sixth anniversary of the foundation of the Council of Churches of Egypt.
The presidency of the council was handed over by Rev. Refaat fathy to Father Poulos Garas at the Catholic Seminary College in Maadi.
The ceremony was attended by His Holiness the Patriarch Ibrahim Isaac, Patriarch of the Catholic Copts, the Rev. Andrea Zaki, President of the Evangelical Community, Archbishop Mounir Hanna, President of the Episcopal Church in Egypt, and the Patriarch of the Greek Orthodox Patriarch Theodoros II.
