Today, many Coptic people think that the murder of Bishop Epiphanius, head of St. Makar monastery, by two monks was based on a conspiracy theory. This reminded me of the most famous conspiracy theory spread in the Arab region for the last two decades, which is the attacks of September 9, 2001. Many people decided to take away the accusations of the leader of al-Qaeda, Osama bin Laden, and to accuse the Zionist movements and the CIA of planning for the attack.
