The Church of St. George in Tanta, Gharbia, commemorated the second anniversary of the bombings of Palm Sunday.
The bombings of Palm Sunday coincided with the celebration of the Palm Sunday in 2017, when a simultaneous bombing targeted the Church of St. George in Tanta, and St. Mark Church in Alexandria, and resulted in the deaths of dozens of worshipers and police officers.
