Spokesman of the Coptic Orthodox Church denied the change of Christmas date based on recommendation from the Committee of the diaspora in the Holy Synod.
He explained that it needs an official decision of the Holy Synod in order to change the date of Christmas to be celebrated on December 25 instead of January 7th.
