Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark See returned to Cairo from Austria, after a pastoral care visit to Europe which started on October 9.
The pope visited a number of dioceses in France, Switzerland, Belgium and Austria, during which he met with the Egyptian ambassadors in the four countries as well as high-ranking officials including the French President Emmanuel Macron. He also visited the European Parliament.
