Bishop Markos of Shubra El-Kheima said during his participation in the week for prayer for unity that Jesus Christ calls for love even the enemies. Thus, we should love everybody even those who kill us like members of ISIS.
For his part, Rev. Rifaat Fikri, head of the Dialogue Committee in the Evangelical Church, emphasized that the week of prayer for unity has been held for years and such gathering reflects diversity that God wanted us to be complementarity.
