The Austrian Catholic Church headed by Cardinal Christophe Schonburn said that the memory of the 21 Coptic martyrs who were killed by ISIS terrorists in Libya five years ago will remain in all souls. This came on the occasion of the commemoration of the memory of the martyrs on February 16.
The Austrian Church praised the construction of a Coptic church in Al-Awar village, the home town of the majority of the martyrs. An exhibition with new documents on the history of the Coptic martyrs will be opened on February 15. The church will display panels and audio-visual contributions will be presented in Arabic, English and French languages.
