CAIRO - April 6th Youth Movement, a protest group established in 2008, is due to hold its first internal elections on September 9 in the group's temporary office in central Cairo, a spokesman for the group said Wednesday.
The polls will be reviewed and supervised by former head of the Judges Club Zakaria Abdel-Aziz and five other judges, as well as some public figures," said spokesman Tareq el-Kholi. He added that all members of the group nationwide would take part in this democratic experience, while the bylaws of the group and details of the preparations for the polls will be announced later.
