The Egyptian Parliament approved the establishment of Catholic and Evangelical endowment bodies just like the Coptic Orthodox Church.
The decision comes to ensure equality between all Christian denominations in Egypt and to enable such bodies to manage and invest the assets and funds of the Churches.
