The Monastery of St. George in Rizeigat, Luxor, issued a statement today confirming that it is preparing for the annual celebration that will be held on time under the patronage of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II and the papal committee overseeing the celebrations of the monastery .
Statement added that the celebration will only be canceled if decided by Pope Tawadros and the committee, but there is currently no plans to suspend them.
