Amnesty International publishes ’We are not dirt’

Amnesty International criticized the Egyptian government’s forced evictions of informal settlement dwellers and its failure to involve them in solving their problems. It also criticized the government’s plans, which describe informal settlements as dangerous areas, to evacuate slums without creating a resettlement plan for residents.
