A number of bishops participated in the ordination ceremony including Bishop Demetriusof Malawi, Bishop Daniel of Maadi and Secretary of the Holy Synod, Bishop Yustus, Head of the Monastery of Saint Anthony in the Red Sea, Bishop Daniel, head of St. Paul monastery, Bishop Theodosius of Central Giza, and Bishop Markos of Damietta.
