To support Khalid Ali’s presidential campaign, the activist Alaa Abdel-Fattah, held a meeting last Wednesday in Sohag entitled “How to achieve the goal of the revolution?”, in the Marine Sports Club in the presence of the coalition of the revolution of Sohag, and a number of student and revolutionary movements.
Alaa said that what the military is doing frequently in each governorate are repetitive incidents aiming at keeping the citizens preoccupied.
On the other hand, he confirmed that the sectarian incidents are planned by the previous regime and the military with the assistance of the thugs aiming at dividing Egypt, in addition to satellites channels which aim at discord to put down the revolution and make it fail.
He said he is surprised that a lot of sheiks say that the Martyrs of Maspero are not martyrs as they are non-Muslims; wondering, "How come those Salafist sheiks are so ignorant!”. Alaa concluded that to make Egypt better; he decided to support the presidential campaign of Khalid Ali.
