Human rights activist, Ezzat Ibrahim told Copts United that a number of thugs stopped a microbus owned by St. Mary Church, Abu al-Hadr village, Dirout, Assiut, and stole it.
Ezzat explained that the thugs attacked the microbuses, when transporting students to the school of the village, attacked the driver, let the students out, then took the microbus and fled.
The priest of the church reported the police, asking the security authorities in Assiut to work harder on preventing such incidents, Ezzat said.
