Life of Beni Suef’s Priest is threatened

Many people at Bani Kasem village in Beni Suef have attacked Father Soriel Gad, priest of St. Mary church at the village in the new house that he is building as they thought he is building a church. Policemen have asked the priest to sell his house to make those people calm down, but the priest refused. Policemen have asked him to leave the village, and while he was leaving, those people attacked him again and damaged his car promising that he would be killed if he comes back to the village.
