Death toll of A/H1N1 flu reaches 31 in Egypt
Egypt reported two more death cases of A/H1N1 flu on Sunday, bringing the Egyptian death toll to 31, Egypt's MENA news agency said 
 
A 29-year-old woman died of A/H1N1 virus in Gharbiya Governorate, 80 km north of Cairo, MENA said, adding that the woman, who worked as a nurse, suffered from severe dyspnea.
Another 54-year-old woman died of the virus in Giza Governorate, southwest of Cairo, Health Ministry spokesman Abdel Rahman Shahine told MENA, adding that the woman suffered from severe respiratory symptoms and had a history of having chemotherapy and radiation after a hysterectomy.
 
Up till now, according to the Ministry of Health, Egypt has reported 3,855 cases of the novel flu.
 
The most populous Arab country confirmed its first influenza A/H1N1 death case, a 28-year-old Egyptian woman, on July 19, who was back from Saudi Arabia after making Umrah (pilgrimage to Mecca at any time of the year).
