The average yield on Egyptian 91-day treasury bills dipped to 9.841 percent at an auction on Monday, compared with 10.073 percent at last week's auction.
The Central Bank of Egypt accepted bids for bills worth 500 million Egyptian pounds, the same amount it was seeking.
It accepted bids at rates between 9.691 and 9.888 percent, compared with 10.002 and 10.091 percent at the previous auction.
The bills are for issue on December 15 and they mature on March 16, 2010.
