Christian Brotherhood has issued a statement in which it denounced the inaccurate information presented in newspapers and media that some has claimed CB is the army of Christ to revolt against Muslim Brotherhood and it belong to fathers Felobater and Metias Nasr, the founders of Maspero youth union. Moreover, Mohammed Hamdy in Sout al-Oma newspaper on August 20 claimed that CB members have decided to carry weapons on the revolution of August 24.
It assured that Dr. Michel Fahmy is the founder of the group as well as its spokesman, and it has nothing to do with church leaders or any priests
