Hany Welliam Khalil, a Coptic merchant, was kidnapped last thursday by 4 men who claimed to be merchants to enter his farm. On the next day they called his family using his cell phone demanding a 400 thousand EGP ransom.
Police was reported, but they did nothing, and never tried to trace the signal of the cell phone that kidnappers uses daily to know where are they.
It's worth mentioning that there are many people who have been kidnapped in Nag Hammadi, while police takes no action to protect the people there.
