I feel sad upon remembering the great images of popular cohesion among the Egyptians during the revolution in all Egyptian Squares, and those many young civilized people who sacrificed their souls for the sake of the values they believe in. I remember seeing those young people holding brooms and brushes to clean the streets, and the people defending their houses forming their own patrols. Egyptians were so funny even when they were revolting! Their pure origin appeared after it was hidden for years. In fact, the whole world was surprised by those "lazy and subservience" people, as they used to be called by many people.
Our people have shown their great origin. It was so clear that we are able to restore our leading position after a lot of people were thinking we'll never do! Such sudden cultural awakening wasn't so much admired by America and its Western allies, because they want to make sure that countries of the Middle East are living in darkness of the Middle Ages, in order to keep their Israel safe.
I'm not trying here to condemn Israel, or to deny its right to exist, but i don't find it so much pleasant that the Israelis enjoy all aspects of civilization and excellence, while our countries are sinking in the darkness of ignorance and poverty, seeking aids and money to eat and using the trash and inventions of the others. America decided then to use Muslim Brotherhood simply to make our revolution fail!
America has supported MB since the beginning of the revolution of January 25, which started as a revolution and ended up as a setback for the people who were seeking better life as well as social justice. American Administration could keep the Egyptians busy thinking about their sectarian conflicts supported by the fanatics, rather than their dreams and demands, leading us to such sad destiny and bad situation.
Only few weeks have passed since MB took over power, and America found out that the tool it used to plant a sectarian strife in Egypt have been used against America itself causing a great loss, after few Islamists have attacked the American Embassy raising the black flags of al-Qaeda on its pole. Consequently, American reputation and prestige as a superpower was affected badly.
If only the leaders of liberal parties forget about their selfishness and fighting over some leading positions and offices! If only they unite to form a strong opposition to work for Egypt.
To our Muslims brothers I say: "We strongly deplore and condemn any abuse of Christianity as well as the Islam, as all of us believe in freedom of belief. Long live Egypt for all Egyptians"
