A source in the Coptic Orthodox Church told Copts United that Abba Kyrolous, bishop of Milan has apologized for not attending the personal meeting with the nominations committee last Monday in St. Bishoy monastery, Wadil Natroun, and he may withdraw from the papal elections.
It added that Abba Potrous, former secretary of the late Pope Shenouda, hasn't attend the meeting for traveling in the United States of America at the moment.
The source added that personal meetings with bishops Youannes and Bishoy have lasted for one hour during which they discussed the appeals against them.
