Gershon Baskin, Jewish peace activist, said that there is currently a clash between the Sharia and the democracy in Egypt, but the Islamists are trying to impose the Sharia in the new constitution.
He added during his visit to Egypt that he can't imagine that some people should get their hands cut, and that the Jews have more than 36 reasons for killing, but they can't apply them in the 21st century.
