Funeral of Milad Hanna attended by Pope Tawadros, many intellectuals and officials

Pope Tawadros II has led the prayers in the funeral of the Coptic writer and activist Dr. Milad Hanna in St. Mark Cathedral, Abbassya.

In his speech, Pope Tawadros said that he knew Dr. Milad closely and has visited him several times at home.

About death he added that it is no longer called death, but rather departure as the Christians’ souls depart from earth to heaven.

The funeral was also attended by many clergy, intellectuals and senior officials.
