Coptic Austrian organization, KIMI, has denounced the violations and falsification during referendum process on the constitution draft last Saturday, demanding first phase of the referendum be nullified due to such alleged irregularities that occurred during the voting process.
It added that the violations included: preventing civil society observers from monitoring the electoral process, using religion to mobilize people to vote “Yes”, preventing Copts and women from voting in various governorates, closing electoral committees before the due time, and the presence of MB members inside the screening committees.
