Dr. Naguib Gebrael, head of the Egyptian Federation for Human Rights, said that fatwa of Islamic Legitimate Body of Rights and Reformation (ILBRR) that forbids Muslims from wishing Merry Christmas or congratulate the Christians on Christmas just reflects the new Egyptian constitution.
He added that such fatwas threatens the national unity of the Egyptians, and proves that the Egyptian Churches made the right decision upon deciding to withdraw from the Constituent Assembly.
