Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Grand Imam of al-Azhar, has taken the initiative to stop violence in Egypt, by holding meeting with different Egyptian parties and currents.
He assured that neither violence should
be considered a choice nor to exclude any party from the political scene.
He added in a statement after meeting with prominent politicians and church representatives that all parties should renounce violence, and to hold dialogue without excluding any party.
