Abba Gabriel, bishop of Beni Suef, told Copts United that the Church has nothing to do with politics, and it only encourages the congregation to fulfill their duty by voting in the elections.
He explained that the Church is not going to encourage its people to vote for certain candidates, but for the one they think is the best. So, it's their choice.
