Shehata: There is a plan for Islamization and displacement of the Copts

Father Estefanos Shehata, deputy of Samalut Diocese, said that there is a plan for Islamization and forced displacement of the Coptic Christians in Samalout.

 

 

He explained that there is an association called New Muslims' Association that is led by Sheik Abu Yehia who supports kidnapping and islamization of many Coptic Christians especially women and minor girls.

 

 

Shehata added that the state of uncontrolled security has allowed many crimes against Coptic properties, and kidnapping Copts for huge amounts of ransom.
