Who is responsible for burning Egypt now? The Muslim Brotherhood is. Who is responsible for penetrating the law? The Muslim Brotherhood is. Who is responsible for the chaos that Egypt has now? The Muslims Brotherhood is. Who is responsible for non-agreement between political powers? The Muslims Brotherhood is.
No one can deny or turn a blind eye towards the events happening now in Egypt at the hands of the Muslim Brotherhood. We should be aware that waiting more time might lead to the destruction of Egypt. We should have a plan about how to save Egypt the hands of the Muslim Brotherhood. We shouldn’t wait more. I believe that the time to take action towards the Muslim Brotherhood is now. More waiting means more chaos.
So the question now is how will we get rid of this chaos? I believe the best way to rid the country of chaos is by peaceful means. We should take the following steps:
First: We should insist on putting more pressure to amend the constitution and abide by it as our main tool. Amending the constitution is essential to bring fairness and justice to all nations.
Second: We need to respond to the Supreme Constitutional Court’s instructions related to elections law. This will later lead to fair parliamentary elections, so, by this way, we ensure participation of the most political parties in the election process.
Third: It is important to start a national dialogue to include not just political issues, but also the social and economic issues that should go along with political discussions to save Egypt.
Fourth: We need to return the Judicial Authority’s independence. After what Morsi did with the Judicial Authority, we need to repair the corruption that took place because of him. This includes firing the general prosecutor.
Fifth: We should dissolve the Muslim Brotherhood Association. Dissolving the Muslim Brotherhood means we can return to a real state that is ruled by executive law where by all people are judged equally regardless of creed, religion, gender, or personal preferences. Furthermore, dissolving the Muslim Brotherhood is crucial.
Sixth: We need to remove the role of the Muslims Brotherhood in political life. So all Egyptians feel that the President is independent of any influence of the Muslim Brotherhood.
