Egypt that was...

I don't know how some people are optimistic about the future of Egypt after what's happening to it. Egypt has lost its position as a prestigious state with a great influence in the Middle East that President Gamal Abdel Nasser has founded the Non-Aligned Movement in conjunction with Yugoslavia and India. Furthermore, it had a great industrial production that was better than Korea until the sixties of the last century. It was simply a state, but no more.

Egypt now is at the verge of destruction, bankruptcy and famine. Armed militias hit its streets, under police strike and Armed Forces disregard. Unfortunately, we did this to our selves, as we handed Egypt over to those who care not for Egypt. While the Egyptian economy depends on tourism as well as Suez Canal, they destroyed the tourism industry and try to sell Suez Canal to Qatar in order to help Gaza and establish the Islamic Caliphate. They prove what the Islamists said upon invading Egypt: “Let Egypt be destroyed if this helps Madina El Monawara”. Those invaders have persisted levying tribute that there was great famine in Egypt according to Maqrizi.

We know from the history that after eliminating the liberals and moderate Muslims, Islamists will fight each other to death. Then, Assiut will be separated as an Islamic emirate under the rule of JI, Sinai will be under the rule of Jihadists, and Alexandria will be under the rule of Salafis...etc.

This is democracy practiced by poor and ignorant people, in a country where people vote for the one who give them some foodstuffs, where people do as you say if you tell them that you represent God. What kind of democracy is that!

The Muslim Brotherhood has destroyed the judicial system as well as the police while the Army is only caring for maintaining its budget and commissions. Meanwhile, the opposition is so weak and divided. We indeed should feel sorry for Egypt that was a great country after we had totally ruined it.
