Priest of Alwasty Church: We participate in searching for disappeared Muslim girl

Father Angelos Makar, priest of St. George Church in Alwasty, Beni Suef, said that there were no clashes with Salafis of the village today, and the Church is looking for the girl after the Copts have been allowed to reopen their shops.

 

He told Copts United that some people have tried to accuse the Church of being responsible for the disappearance of the Muslim girl in order to ignite the situation between Muslims and Christians, and incite a sectarian strife.
