Islamists dismiss woman from being village mayor

Sources told Copts United that the Salafis and Muslim Brotherhood leaders have pressured Maher Baybars, governor of Beni Suef, to dismiss sharbat Taha Hassan from the mayor office of Ashment village, Beni Suef.

 

It’s worth mentioning that dozens of Islamists have demonstrated last week in front of the administrative building of Beni Suef governorate demanding the dismissal of the new mayor as they don’t want a woman to preside over them.
