Pope Tawadros receives Vatican ambassador in Cairo

Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark See, has received the Vatican Ambassador to Cairo Van Paul Goupil in the Great Cathedral of St. Mark.

 

The ambassador has offered his condolences to the Pope for the victims of the recent attacks on the Coptic Christians in Khosous and St. Mark Cathedral.

 

It’s worth mentioning that it’s scheduled that Pope Tawadros is going to meet with his Pope Francis in Vatican next month.
