Bayadi: Heads of Egyptian Churches meet to discuss unified law of personal affairs

Dr. Rev. Safwat Bayadi, head of the Evangelical Communion, said that heads of Egyptian Churches will meet today with Pope Tawadros II at the Papal Residence to discuss the unified law of personal affairs.

 

This comes after representatives of the three churches, Orthodox, Evangelical and Catholic have attended a meeting at the Ministry of Justice last Thursday concerning this matter.

 

Bayadi added that the visit of the Secretary-General of the World Council of Churches to Egypt reflects the significance of Egypt in the Middle East.
