Rev. Dr Olav Fykse Tveit, General secretary of the World Council of Churches, said during his meeting with the Coptic Evangelical Organization in Cairo that the world is watching for Egypt and its Christians.
He added that after meeting with Pope Tawadros II and the Mufti, he thinks that Egyptians should, and are willing to coexist.
On the other hand, Tveit said that Christian unity can only be effective if all churches participate and offer what they got.
