Egypt's Illicit Gains Authority ordered on Wednesday that former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak be detained for 15 more days pending further investigations.
The IGA questioned Mubarak on Wednesday at Torah prison hospital where he was transferred last week after his health improved.
Mubarak had challenged the prosecutor-general's order that he remain in custody, but a court turned the appeal down.
