Bishop Gabriel: Coptic Christian pilgrims to Jerusalem can’t take communion

Abba Gabriel, bishop of Beni Suef, said that all Coptic Christians who were on pilgrimage to Jerusalem this year are temporarily excommunicated and can’t take communion. 

 

He added that the Coptic Christians are prevented from being on pilgrimage to Jerusalem since the days of the late Pope Shenouda III, and urged the people to pray for the Palestinian issue.
