Egyptian authorities closed all roads leading to the Ministry of Interior on Saturday, following protests near the ministry's headquarters that demand the release of all political prisoners.
The Security forces intensified its security measures in the area surrounding the Interior Ministry by deploying Central Security Forces around the ministry and placing barbed wires in all street intersections leading to it.
Dozens of protesters, who belong to the April 6 youth movement, are still heading to the Interior Ministry, chanting against President Mohamed Mursi, the Muslim Brotherhood and the Ministry of the Interior.
