Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark See, celebrated today the holy liturgy at the second anniversary of the departure of the late Pope Shenouda III.
The mass was held at St. Bishoy monastery where the body of the late Pope was laid down.
Many members of the Holy Synod have participated in the mass as well.
It is worth mentioning that the late Pope Shenouda III, had passed away on March 17, 2012, at the age of 89 years, and was buried in a shrine prepared for him at St. Bishoy monastery according to his will.
