Police refused to allow restoring the ramshackle Apostolic Church in Mahras village, Minya.
The priest of the Church said he had completed the due permits, but the police refused to allow him to build the church claiming that the security situation doesn’t allow building a church in the village.
The residents of the village demanded the police to allow building a new church as the current building is ramshackle.
