Controversy Azhar statement describes ISIS as believers

Many activists denounced the controversy statement of Al Azhar in which it described terrorists of ISIS or Daash as believers and refused calling them as infidels!Many activists denounced the controversy statement of Al Azhar in which it described terrorists of ISIS or Daash as believers and refused calling them as infidels!

The institution that represents moderate Islam said that Muslims can’t be called infidels even if they are sinners. This came to denounce statement by Mofti of Nigeria who called ISIS as infidels. 
 
Writer Soliman Shafik said that Al Azhar has not made himself clear since the revolution of June 30. Azhar has never allowed building churches, but only incited against them.
 
Rev. Refat Fekry, head of Media Council of Evangelist Synod, said that he doesn’t prefer to call anybody as infidel, but it should be clear whether Al Azhar considers them terrorist or not.
 
Hani Ramsis, lawyer, said that such unclear positions encourages the terrorists to go on killing, raping and looting.
 
Sheikh Osama al-Qousy, Islamic preacher, said that such unclear announcement defames Islam and portrays it as religion of killing and terrorism. He explained that ISIS is the one calling others infidels if they disagree with it.
